Our Work
We embed with local communities and NGOs to assess real-world needs and build energy solutions that scale.
Active Focus Areas
Turkana (Lodwar, Kakuma)
From initial refugee microgrid mapping, GridReach has evolved to deploying portable solar and battery storage units to support health outposts, water access points, and school lighting. In partnership with local NGOs, we’re focused on modular systems that can expand over time based on community demand.

Garissa/Wajir
GridReach is piloting a mobile energy program in Kenya's pastoralist northeast, offering solar-powered charging stations, pole-mounted LED lighting, and cold storage solutions to improve safety, communication, and food security across nomadic routes.

Lamu Coast
Coastal electrification efforts now include rooftop solar and micro-installations supporting fishing communities and small-scale agro-processing. These systems are designed to operate independently from the national grid.
