Scott Chamberlin
Executive Director
Scott Chamberlin is a seasoned international development and governance expert with more than 25 years of experience leading complex programs across Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. Prior to joining GridReach, Scott held senior leadership roles at organizations including The Cloudburst Group, Democracy International, and Management Systems International (MSI), where he oversaw large-scale USAID-funded initiatives focused on local governance, community resilience, and infrastructure development.

At GridReach, Scott brings a pragmatic, field-informed approach to delivering sustainable energy access in underserved communities. His background in designing and managing inclusive, locally led interventions aligns closely with GridReach’s mission to implement decentralized solar solutions that are scalable, community-centered, and built to last.

Scott holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Columbia University and has worked extensively in fragile and remote environments, making him uniquely equipped to guide GridReach’s expansion across Sub-Saharan Africa.
Grace Achieng
Program Officer, Community Outreach
Grace is a social impact facilitator and former field coordinator with WaterAid Kenya. She leads our community engagement programs and ensures all feasibility studies reflect the voices and priorities of local populations.
Michael Tesfaye
Technical Advisor, Energy Systems
Michael is an Ethiopian engineer and off-grid energy consultant. He advises GridReach on appropriate technologies, cost modeling, and system architecture for off-grid environments.
Peter Oduor
Field Operations Coordinator (Turkana & Northern Rift)
Peter has led cross-border field deployments in arid zones for over 15 years. He specializes in last-mile route planning, security coordination, and maintaining community trust during in-depth field studies.
Daniel Mwangi
Regional Field Director (Nairobi)
Daniel is a Kenyan energy systems specialist with over a decade of experience coordinating solar and microgrid projects in East Africa. He brings deep expertise in field logistics, rural energy audits, and regional stakeholder engagement.
